Cat paintings by Peter Robinson

We've been looking at these painting for many years (haven't we Norm?) and find them fascinating. I'm including a selection of our favourites here. We especially like the one that's a dead ringer for Norman himself! We'd like to thank Peter (Gordon and the all the cats too!) for letting us post them here.

Peters work is described on his own website ..."Working in designer gouache and pastels, mostly from photographs, Peter paints his cats with colourful, intricate and detailed backgrounds". To us, Peter seems to capture the real spirit of these cats, as well as making the works highly decorative. Wonderful!

Well, spring is almost upon us and Norman is out and about checking the bushes around his patch for any scent of his arch Nemesis the very big white Tom Cat from down the road..... and yes its spray,spray,spray to tell all potential usurpers that this is HIS patch ..... more on this story soon... it's going to be "claw fight at the ok corral" for sure....

This website intends to take a closer look at cats of every kind at every stage of life. The articles and pictures herein are for fun only, however we hope Moggyblog.com also carries some useful information about these feline creatures we know and love.
